What I've been working on

I really trying to blog more so I thought I share some of the stuff I'm working on and finished in the past few days. But first Trinity and the kitties...

Trinity, Samone and Mia
I missed the picture with Simone (the orange one) under the purple blanket with Trinity's arm around her. But this one is still pretty cute. She really loves her kitties and stays up super late talking and playing with them. I'm glad Trinity's homeschooled or she'd never get any sleep!

Here is how far I am on Birch #2. It's not going as fast as the red one, but I really like how it's turning out. I think this one will be a bit smaller.

And here are a couple things that I've added to the shop.

I really love the necklace. I keep meaning to take step by step pictures to as a make something so I can post it to the blog, but I always forget. In most cases I have no idea what I'm going to make when I set down with my bits and bobs and when I get going I just don't like to stop.

I hate thinking up titles

Look at the cuteness!
ok everyone together now...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

So you know that super pretty gray yarn I dyed for Evenstar? Well, wile I was knitting the swatch and loving how it looked and felt the yarn just kinda fell apart after it was knit. Now I can understand that it was going to be weaker then other yarn. It came from a cashmere sweater I frogged but I didn't think it was going to be that bad. I'm kinda disappointed I really liked that yarn. Oh well. I did re knit it in knit picks shadow, and I think it will do.

Lots and Lots of stuff!

mmm where to start? How about some super cool necklaces I made for the shop!

This is Miranda

and this is Ava.

Both of them were made with almost all salvaged parts, only the bird and flower bead and the leaf charm on Miranda are new. If you want click on the pics and they will take you to flickr and you can see what it looks like on. I've also have made some smaller necklaces and a few hair pin sets that still need to be listed.

I've also been knitting again, alot, here are some of my WIP
Man socks for Joe
Man socks
A set of Felted Gnomes for Baby Grant
Bubbies for the girls for V-day
an other Birch
Lime Birch
and this is the yarn I dyed for Evenstar

I donated the red Birch and a necklace to a silent auction to a benefit to raise money for the people of Haiti. Before you get the pitch forks out I emailed Sharon Miller and made sure it was ok. The benefit was last night and I'm not sure how much money they made. The benefit was given by and old friend who's family is from Haiti and run a couple of dental clinics there. They also have a sheep farm :) or at least they did, so you know that makes them super cool, so if you haven't had a chance to donate this is a wonderful place to do so! There are also a couple of shops on etsy that are donating money to Doctor's Without Borders, Hearts for Haiti and Craft Hope. I donated a necklace to Hearts for Haiti and it sold the same day! Check them out, both shops are pretty cool!

I think that's all I got for now!

Well I've been knitting a lot more! I finished Birch last week. I was so happy when I saw that the pattern was no free. I've been wanted to knit this shawl forever! I used about 2.5 skeins of Alchemy Haiku in Koi Pond. I love love love this yarn and was super lucking to get it on sale a few years ago, I even still have 2.5 skeins left.

Sorry about the crappy pictures, I took them at like 12am right after I finished blocking it. Birch was a fast and easy knit, I think it only took me 10 days...

Right now I knitting Gail using Knit Picks Imagination. I down to the last 6 row and I think I'm going to run out of yarn.... I'll get pictures up when I'm finished.

I've been working on lots of jewelry for the shop and plan on carding more batts soon. My carder needs to be taken apart and cleaned. I keep trying to get Joe to do it, but he's doesn't seem to be game.

Here are a couple of the necklaces I finished in the last week or so.

I've also reopened my other etsy shop to kinda clear out the other one of the supplies and vintage goodies.

Well I think that all I've got for now
