My shetland fleeces....

Wow I had no clue that they would be that big! it's going to take me all summer to get this stuff cleaned up! I pulled of all the real gross stuff already, I didn't take to much off of them because i really don't know how to do this, i did wash a bit to see if I could really do it, well it came out clean and not felted so i'm good to go. My carders will be here tommorow or Thr. so i'll give carding it a try. I can't believe I got all this wool for $30.00. I have the tracking number for my wheel, It's in NC and should be here on Thr!!!!

More kitty info

The kitty is doing well, Little B loves him and Nekko is a little put out. I think she's mad B is spending to much time with the kitty. I've been giving her extra love, when she lets me. I really need to take my camera down stairs to get pictures off all 3 of them....I think I've narrowed down the name choice, but I want to give it a few more hours....I'll let you know.

Here is what I'm working on now

First up is a Cherry Tree Hill shawl pattern in some lace weight from www.handpaintedyarn.com I love that website and the yarn is so nice and the price is perfect! I have this huge hand painted yarn thing going right now, I love the variation in color, and I'm loving the handspun lace and yarn in general, it's not great for every project but I love it all the same. I'm going to start saving up for a spinning wheel so I can make my own, I'm just not digging the spindle, its to slow. oh and I'm knitting this on Addi's oh my i'm in love!!!

Up next is a Cherry Tree Hill scarf made from possum lace from the same company...Love the yarn and I'm sad that you really cant find it anymore, I know of one place that has 1 color left.....But I'm not telling cause the only have 7 left and I want 2 of them....heheehhe This scarf is super simple to knit. I have to say that I love Cherry Tree Hill's yarn and there lace pattern, i think i have like 5 of them. And I'm hoping to get Lavish Lace for my b-day.

And last we have a Knit Picks pattern with Knit picks yarn, the sock is a little big but oh well they are super comfy!

My new tattoo

Tattoo... I got this done yesterday. It's on my left forearm. Oh man did this bad boy hurt!!! I got pussy done at Wicked Tattoos in Garden City (www.wickedtattoos.net) Darrel was the artist who worked on both mine and my sisters tattoos.
